What is recovery time following Laser surgery?
The recovery time depends on which type of Laser surgery you had with LASIK or PRK. With PRK recovery is one week and we advise patients not to drive for one week.Some patients take longer to reach driving standard but by one month after surgery,vision is entirely stable and has reached its preoperative level with glasses.The visual recovery with LASIK is far more rapid .The first day after surgery the patient can see 6/6 or close to it.People can go back to work the day following surgery .
