I specialise in advanced technologies for correcting vision including:

• Laser vision correction i.e. LASIK, PRESBYOND after 40, TOPOGUIDED LASIK, INTRALASE.
• Refractive lens exchange with MULTIFOCAL & TRIFOCAL LENSES.
• Phacoemulsification with monofocal, toric & MICS lenses for cataract treatment.
• Glaucoma medical & surgical management.

I have an experience of 20years as a phaco & lasik surgeon . I am a highly experienced surgeon and have performed over 20000 eye surgery procedures.

I am particularly interested in managing patients above 40 who are wearing glasses only for near or both for far and near & are seeking laser PRESBYOND surgery to get rid of their glasses.

• Have been awarded a no. of medals & shields by various organizations for last 10 years for selfless involvement in OPD camps & surgeries with outstanding results.
• Have a large no. of news articles published in Tribune, Punjab Kesri, Jagbani, Ajit, Bhaskar, Danik Jagran & other newspapers on eye health & awareness to my name.

• I studied MBBS at the famous Govt. Medical College, Amritsar. I then studied my masters in Ophthalmology from Govt. Medical College, Faridkot, Punjab.
• I then did my observership at Daljit Singh Eye Institute, Amritsar and Sangha Eye Hospital, Jalandhar for Lasers & Squint.
• I then underwent specialised clinical, surgical & research training at famous Jagdambay Charitable Eye Institute, Ganaganagar.
• I then worked as a consultant & phaco surgeon at famous charitable hospitals in Ludhiana. I then left charitable hospitals to establish my own independent eye hospital in the name of Ambay Eye Care & Lasik Center on Ludhiana's famous Main Gill Road in the heart of the city.

• Following are my research activities

1. "Prevelance & pattern of corneal blindness" in Out patient department of Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot.
2. "Treatment of ocular trauma due to injury with Slaked Lime"

• I have a no of papers to my publication presented in Punjab Ophthalmological Society at IVth & Vth Annual Conference.
