How does cataract surgery work?
It is performed through phacoemulsification.We use topical anaesthesia Three tiny keyhole incisions are made.Natural lens is emulsified with help of Phacoemulsification & removed.The lens is implanted through keyhole incision.The type of lens depends on patient’s eye and what they hope to achieve.The lens implants determines sight correction you get afterwards & whether or not you need glasses after cataract surgery.
